- Elementary school principal by day, world traveler by night? Hmmm.... not quite, but I have focused on finding time to explore the world during my month of summer vacation. In 2009, I traveled to several cities in China and to the cloud forests and rain forests of Ecuador. In 2010, I brought water pumps to isolated communities in Peru. During the summer of 2011, I worked, lived, and learned around a tiny village in Kenya. Next up, to Japan I go!
